Music at RRPC
Music is one of the most wonderful gifts God has given us. What would our worship be like without the joyful expression of God's people through song? Our goal at RRPC is to have a music ministry that is vibrant and alive, that offers opportunities for everyone in the church to be involved, and that ultimately brings glorious praise to our Lord Jesus Christ. I hope you will find a place to share your musical talents in our church.

Musical Ensembles at RRPC
Chancel Choir - Rehearsals: Thursdays, 7:30-9:00 PM
Director: Paul Bower
You won't find a friendlier church choir in all of Rio Rancho. The adult choir sings every Sunday during worship from September through May, one Sunday a month at the 8:30 service and the remaining Sundays at 11:00. The choir also sings at special services during Lent, Holy Week, Advent, and Christmas. It is open to adults and youth.
JuBELLation Ringers - Rehearsals: Thursdays, 6:20-7:20 PM

Ever thought about giving handbells a try? Now's your chance! This adult ensemble usually plays on the third Sunday of every month from Sept. through May, as well as special services during the holiday seasons. Skills in reading music are helpful, but not required - you can learn as you go.
Ribaltimento Bell Choir - Rehearsals: Sundays, 4:30-5:30 PM
Director: Shirley Underwood
This is a wonderful musical outlet for the talented youth of our church. They play in both services once a month and during the holiday seasons. It is open to youth, grades 6-12. No audition required!
Children's Choir - Rehearsals: Sundays, 4:00-5:00 PM
Director: Nancy Leffler
What an opportunity for your kids to get involved in the music of the church. The Children's Choir sings once a quarter Sept. through May. It is open to children from ages 4 through 5th grade.
Praise Band - Rehearsals: Sundays, 3:00-4:30 PM
The RRPC Praise Band is the newest musical outlet for the youth of the church. They lead the congregation in the singing of contemporary praise songs at 10:50 every Sunday. It is open to youth from grades 6-12.
Men's Quartet - Rehearsals: when needed
This group of men blesses us with their music off and on through the year, both in worship and at other times.
Expanded Music Ministry
Occasionally, Rio Rancho Presbyterian Church offers special musical events in which performances from some of the finest musicians in the Albuquerque/Rio Rancho area are presented to the public.
