Sally Ann Stilgebouer - September 21, 1944 ~ February 3, 2012
We mourn the loss of Sally, who waged a five-year battle against ALS ("Lou Gehrig's Disease") that ended February 3rd. Sally was active in women's prision ministries, both at the New Mexico Women's Correctional Facility in Grants, and with A Peaceful Habitation Home and Aftercare Ministry. She taught the Disciples Bible class in the evenings for several years. She was on the Presbyterian Women's Coordinating Team (PWCT) and otherwise active in the Presbyterian Women's group. Sally was an active choir member and enjoyed playing the harp.
There will be a memorial service for Sally on Saturday, February 25 at 11:00 a.m., with a reception afterward in the Fellowship Hall.
Presbyterian Women Help Peaceful Habitation
Presbyterian Women collected items for A Peaceful Habitation Home and Aftercare Ministry during the holidays. Virginia Kelley headed up the project. "We collected a large amount of personal and paper products, as well as garbage bags and twin-sized sheets", Virginia said. "We took two large boxes to Peaceful Habitation right before Christmas. Thank you to all who contributed to this effort."
We Burned Our Mortgage November 6, 2011!
Rio Rancho Presbyterian Church is blessed with a faithful God and faithful people. We have so much to be thankful for! We burned our mortgage on November 6 after worship, and celebrated with a wonderful potluck lunch afterward.
