Are you looking for a group with whom you can share the love of reading? RRPC has a book group! We meet monthly from August to May and have already made plans for the coming year! Following is a list of the books we will be reading during the 2010-2011 academic year.

Salmon Raspberry Ranch
Saturday, September 18
Pack a sack lunch and either join the "U-Pick-It" activity during the day, or just enjoy the scenery, fellowship, and historical offerings of the Ranch. All ages welcom! (You can always purchase your raspberries in the Ranch Store.) Admission is free, but you pay for your raspberries or other purchases.
To particpate, sign up in the narthex beginning mid August. We will meet in the church parking lot at 8:00 am and carpool from there to the Ranch. If you have questions, contact Emily Sue Chambers at 889-0412 or email emilysuec(at)hotmail.com.
Labor Day Weekend Camping Trip
Join the fun September 3-5 at Sierra Bonita RV Park (near Mora)! RV hook-up sites and pop-up and/or tent sites are available!
The campground is a few miles north of Guadalupita, NM, and is about equal distance from Mora and Angel Fire on State Highway 434. For more information on this campground and the activities in the area, go to Sierra Bonita's website at www.sierracabins-rv.com. For you campers interested in joining other RRPC campers over the Labor Day weekend for a great time in the New Mexico mountains, please sign up in the narthex so that all can be included in the pre-camping planning. Children's Choir Director: Responsible for the development and direction of the children's vocal choir with the goals of teaching children appropriate elements of music, assisting their Christian faith formation with biblical and faith-related music, preparing them to lead worship through music and of contributing to the congregation's enjoyment of worship and their spiritual growth.
