We provide social opportunities throughout the year for fellowship and hospitality activities that promote a sense of community and friendship among church members, growing together in faith.
Sunday Fellowship After Worship
We gather for fellowship and food every Sunday after worship. Members and households rotate being hosts and providing the refreshments. The rest of us enjoy milling about, eating, chatting, and getting to meet our visitors.
Chatterbox Cafe
These dinner groups are set up twice a year with six to eight people in each group. We enjoy good food and fellowship in each other's homes. It's reorganization time again, so sign up in the narthex. Groups are selected at random at an evening pot-luck dinner in the Fellowship Hall every six months.
Potluck Meals After Worship
We love to eat! And we have lots of good cooks! On many occasions throughout the year, we gather for potluck meals in our fellowship hall. In the past they have been associated with Pentecost Sunday, mission fundraising, and various programs.
Special Occasion Meals
On the Sunday before Thanksgiving, our youth host an Early Bird Thanksgiving Dinner. It is always delicious, especially served by our smiling young people. Members of the congregation prepare and serve an Easter brunch.
Men's Fellowship
Male church members and friends gather for breakfast in the Fellowship Hall at 8:00 a.m. on the first Saturday morning of each month. There is a program after breakfast, a speaker provided by one of the members.

"Reflections on Jicarilla Apache Celebrations" - Russ Dykehouse
The presentation was on the Jicarilla Apaches. Their land is in the mountains of Northern New Mexico, with tribal headquarters in Dulce. Russ served as pastor at the Jicarilla Reformed Church in Dulce. Dulce is a quiet town in northern New Mexico of about 900 located over 7,000 feet in altitude on the Jicarilla Apache Indian Reservation. Russ described many of the ceremonial observations, including a four-day feast for a young girl's transition to womanhood, and the cultural tradition of "mother-in-law avoidance".
