Jan was drawn to RRPC eight and a half years ago when she answered an ad in the newspaper for a secretarial position. She believed that this is where she was meant to be at that time in her life to help her with the losses she would endure in the following years.

Jan has been married to Larry, her high school sweetheart, for 37 years, and they have two sons and two grandchildren.  Her oldest son Dustin, daughter-in-law Tina, and twins Nora and Parker are stationed in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, where Dustin is in the Coast Guard.  Her younger son Brandon, who is in real estate, lives in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Jan and Larry moved to Rio Rancho in 1997 from the Houston area, where Jan worked as a commercial lines insurance representative for fifteen years.

She was raised in Hobbs, NM, where she was very involved at the First Baptist Church.  After marrying and returning from two years in Germany, she and her husband settled in the Methodist Church.

She has many interests and hobbies.  In the summer you can find Larry and Jan on any nearby lake on our jet ski, at a barbeque cook off, or working in our yard.  Jan loves to cook, decorate, and sew.  She's also compiling a family history going back several generations to pass to her sons.
